Editing with default printing page

Hi,

as i am new with doors, i have a basic question here.
When printing my document (without exporting it to word or else...), i always
get my images too big and cut.
Is there a way to start editing my document with a default config view size as the one
for printing ? ...this way i could directly store my images to right size and don't have
to stress about it !

... or may be you have a better suggestion to reach the same goal ...?

i have saved my view (view->save as) which corresponds to a printable view
in which i did format manually my pictures to get them properly printed.

But when i do a "manage view" to get back to it, pictures do not remain as formated
and are out of printable size again...

Any hint ?

Don't know.

But I believe that the size of the OLE is a characteristics of the OLE itself (in the object-attr), and its not a characteristic of the view; meaning if you adjust the OLE size it will have the new size on all the views that display that attribute (e.g. Object Text).

You were in Edit mode when you adjusted size, yes?

Yes, you can adjust the width of the column and save that, but not the displayed OLE.

Seems as though you would need to use that Tools Menu >> Support Tools >>Set ole size command that adjust OLE size, each time you want to print it; just remember not to save the module. Alternatively find the View with the narrowest Main Column, adjust OLEs to that size, and leave it at that.
